i love your blog sososos much. my new favorite in fact. i have to ask you, a shot in the dark, but if someone knows it's you; a long time ago i randomly watched part of this old movie, it was set in new york maybe. a girl and a military guy meet and get married at a courthouse the day they meet because he has to go that day...or something. and then i think he dies or they loose eachother... does this sound like anything you've seen? it's been driving me crazy!

I think the movie you’re referring to might be The Clock (1945)? It’s set in New York… but it doesn’t really have a tragic ending. If that’s not it could you be more specific?
